Project description
The development of Akademicheskiy began in 2006. It is planned to build a total of 9 million square meters of living space for 325 thousand people. Massive construction continues non-stop. The quickest and most reliable way to equip every building with a fire alarm system is to install Streletz-PRO. Currently, more than 100,000 wireless Streletz-PRO devices protect 123 residential buildings in Akademicheskiy, demonstrating effective operation and easy maintenance since 2009.
In buildings of Akademicheskiy Streletz-PRO performs functions of fire detection, fire alarm notification, smoke vent system control and sending alarm signals to other building services for unlocking doors and controlling elevators.
In each section of buildings equipped with Streletz-PRO, a WL8-PNL3 control panel is installed. The expanders are installed on each floor and communicate with the control panel via radio channel, forming a wireless network in which the other devices operate. Fire detectors and alarm devices are installed in apartments and common areas. Fan control panels and output modules controlling smoke vents and elevators are installed in public areas and on technical floors. The system design is simple and user-friendly, while ensuring the highest level of reliability and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
For prompt response to fire alarms or malfunctions in all systems, each building is networked to a monitoring center in the control room based on the Courier software. This software allows to receive all events from devices in real time and be sure that the system is functioning properly. 
And with the Streletz-Cloud service, you can even monitor events and control the system from your smartphone. Every technician responsible for system maintenance receives push notifications of events and can quickly take the necessary actions, while his supervisor can oversee the process. 

Compared to its wired counterparts, the Streletz-PRO wireless system reduces material costs several times and accelerates work at all stages: from design to putting the system into operation.
Speaking about the timeframe of equipping on the example of 1 section of a 16-storey building with 8 apartments per floor: designing the system takes 3 months, setting up the equipment – 7 days, installation by 4 people – 1 month. The commissioning took 3 days. In comparison, mere installation of an equivalent wired system typically takes 4-5 months.
