Project description
"Sennaya" is one of the most popular shopping malls located in the heart of the city of St. Petersburg. The mall attracts 30 000 visitors daily. The 8-story building, covering 59 000 sq. m, houses more than 100 stores, an entertainment area, a business center, and an underground parking lot.
Previously, the fire safety of the building was ensured by the fire alarm system of ESMI brand from Schneider Electric group. However, the system has reached the end of its service life and the equipment has become outdated. Modernization was required. And the new system had to be installed without closing stores and offices and without disturbing the tenants and visitors of the mall as well.
A hybrid solution based on the Streletz-PRO wireless system and the Spectrum wired addressable system was chosen.

In the building of 59 thousand square meters technicians installed 3 000 wireless Streletz-PRO devices and 1 000 wired devices of Speсtrum system. The wired solution was chosen for the fire safety of the parking lot and the technical floor, where installing new cable lines did not cause any difficulties. Meanwhile, the modernization did not interfere with the regular operation of the center.
Wireless fire system Streletz-PRO is ideal for retrofitting functioning facilities of any complexity. A wireless system is much faster to install than a wired one, saving time and resources.
