Designing the Streletz-PRO network
The location of the expanders in the building plays a crucial role in the reliability of the Streletz-PRO network.
Expanders receive signals from devices and transmit them to the translator module, which is connected to the control panel. The system operates similarly to a cellular network. Much like mobile phones can automatically connect to a cell tower, wireless sensors link to the expander with the strongest signal and relink to a different one if the connection is lost. The signals will then travel through multiple expanders before reaching the translator, and this communication path is also established and adjusted automatically.
This video will guide you through the process of calculating the right number of expanders and identifying the proper places to install them.

In this video, you will find out how you can use the Streletz-Master software to test the system, check the connection strength, read measurements from devices, and change their settings.
The virtual classroom allows fire alarm engineers from all around the world to use one of the remote equipment kits to introduce themselves to the Streletz-PRO wireless alarm system. The user can control and monitor the equipment kit in the Streletz-Master software, while simultaneously observing each device through a live camera feed. The service is completely online, which means that you don’t need physical access to a real system in order to learn how to use it.

One of the main challenges of installing a fire alarm in a medical facility is to minimize installation time and reduce the number of visits to the building. How can wireless technologies make these goals a lot more achievable?
First of all, you can design a wireless fire alarm from the comfort of your house, without having to visit the building. In order to calculate the layout of the devices you only need a computer and the floor plans.
Secondly, a wireless system requires no electrical work and the detectors are simply attached to the ceiling with 2 screws. Two workers with no special qualification can install a wireless fire alarm in just one day.
Finally, a wireless fire alarm can be configured even from a home computer, as the software connects to the system via the Internet. You can also remotely monitor the state of each device and send engineers to the building only when it’s necessary.

In the fight against COVID-19 the Russian Government has ordered the fast track construction of 30 new hospitals to be built, 16 of them to be built in 16 regions of the country in 60 days. It is mandatory for these buildings to be equipped with reliable and proven fire detection systems. Argus Spectrum has been chosen to provide all the hospitals with the “Streletz-PRO” advanced wireless fire detection system in a record time.
More than 60,000 “Streletz-PRO” wireless devices will be installed and commissioned in the new medical centers.

Manufacturing for COVID-19 Hospitals
Today our factory in St Petersburg is working day and night producing equipment for the new COVID-19 hospitals. 120 people work in two 8-hours shifts: from 7am to 4 pm and from 4 pm to 12 am. A further night shift can be added if required.
